　　 At present, Chinese shoe industry is taking place a historic change. Due to increase of labor force cost, scarcity of land resources and insufficiency of industry developing space, traditional shoe manufacturing bases in coastal area of east China have begun to transfer to the West China with low composite cost.
　　There are more than 1,700 shoe factories and over 3,000 relevant factories in Chengdu, forming a relatively perfect industry chain. The products are mainly lady shoes, exported to main global markets including EU, North America, Russia, Southeast Asia and Middle East, with annual output value reaching RMB 15 billion Yuan. By force of its advantages richly endowed by nature, Chengdu becomes the best place to undertake the east shoe industry transferred to the west。

One Center and Two Parks, Coherent Development

Wuhou District of Chengdu, China was entitled with regional brand “Ladies’ Shoe Center of China” in 2006. According to the development strategy of “Establish center in Wuhou District and set up parks in surrounding areas” put forward by Chengdu Municipal Government, the industry platform established based on five centers “Trade Center, Brand Exhibition Center, Research & Development Center, Talent Training Center, Information Service Center” will be founded in Wuhou District of Chengdu as the emphasis. Production will be developed as the emphasis in Chongzhou and Jintang where the planned areas are up to 6.67km2 and 3km2 respectively, so as to realize linkage with Wuhou “Shoes Center”.
